I have always been an avid reader with a preference in young adult fantasy. I have also always been a writer. About six years ago I began working on a manuscript, getting these characters and scenes that I had bouncing around in my head onto paper. I finished the first draft and began reading through it for errors and changes with my pink pen (I had a psychology teacher in high school tell me to never edit in red ink because your brain associates the color with being wrong or making a mistake, and there is no room for that kind of negativity in writing) and began to realize that I enjoyed editing quite a bit more than I had the actual writing… to be continued
